Cobra Biologics struggled a lot to transform our plasmid constructs. We devoted a lot of resources working with Cobra to transform and generate a working cell bank for our plasmid constructs. It is worth noting that Cobra does not provide nor do they... have the capability of providing linearized plasmid constructs. If you are looking for a CDMO that can provide a linearized plasmid Cobra Biologics is not the right CDMO. In addition, from a contract perspective Cobra does not provide the cost of consumables upfront.
